It's kinda hard to keep friends when you work full time.

So I have categories. Co-workers, training partners, fellow hikers, fishing/hunting buddies, tabletop wargames, local dad's with kids my kids ages, and disc golfers.

So if someone is only in one group you'd have to alter your lifestyle to be around them long enough to form the bonds of friendship.

But if one of your disc golf partners comes to work for you and you hunt and fish together you can start a bromance.

Oftentimes these days I wonder if I ever had friends, of course, I dont tell my friends that.

I'd say I have 6 non relatives who wouldn't be surprised if I called them right now.

We don't catch up as often as I would like but I consider them close.

None I met after age 30.

i dont have real life friends anymore. most of my friends are online that i met through an obscure mma forum and now we communicate with each other in twitter chat rooms
