Do NOT move to Brazil

To finish this thread i have to say. The biggest culprits for the chaos in Rio and Brazil in general is due to the brazilians liberals/socialists. I know its not a political forum, but allow me to say, fuck'em all.
Stay away from Rio.

I just received in my e-mail a thread reply about "Moving to Brazil - part 2"

It's kind sad to say it about my own country, but I most warn you guys, do NOT go to Rio,
unless you want to go to a city in civil war (not declared). São Paulo is much safer city, but you have several of the best masters in the USA and Europe, so you do not have to take that risk.

Let's hope things get better.

I loved Brazil but wouldn't want to move there. My first 2 hours in Salvador I seen 4 muggings in broad daylight.

One kid snatched a necklace off a woman, ran across the road and sold it to a cop haha

My coach, who is Brazilian, said a big reason he moved to the US from Rio is that he got tired of carrying two wallets: his real one, and one to give thieves when he got mugged. Said the constant looking over your shoulder for violence was just too hard to live with. And he was pretty well off in Brazil (electrical engineer), it's not like he was living in a favela.

Brazil is a fucking Favela, brah.

Hold on, you mean electing socialists totally fucked their once growing economy???

I too keep two wallets...one with a perfect condom and they other one has a condom with holes poked in it.
Spin the wheel!!!

My instructor is from Rio. When he goes back to visit family he usually doesn't stay more than 2 days. He says it's like Iraq.

drug war is totally lost in Brazil, legalized drugs, and things will get better.

Think about that for a sec "...from gangs on motorcycles with machine guns..." So what's your expectation per wallet u jack? How much does it cost to equip a "gang"...Like 5 guys...with "machine guns" and "motorcycles"?
So now you're trolling for random vics wallets with $10 grand already invested before the first take?

Oops, forgot, a "gangs" gotta eat. The first 3 wallets pays for gas second 3 pays for everyone's shift meal, haha!

WTF Vin Diesel movies r u watching?

LOL!

Just stay ridding your desk or wrenching at the muffler shop where u think u know Da Streetz.

Just having fun with u, just having fun!

LOL!

Go higher on the page you dimwit.

I've had three other relatives victimized in the last few years, including my uncle who literally smashed his way out of one of the tunnels by driving on the shoulder (ie, the wall) to escape AK-wielding assailants on a motorcycle.

No one is talking about movie-style car chases with running shootouts. These guys are not riding around on $50k import racing bikes. We're talking old, used, shitty dirt bikes with 45 mph top speeds. When the traffic is stopped in the tunnels they'll get a gun and lane split while everyone is parked, robbing every vehicle in succession.

the crime during the Olympics should be enough to keep people away

Sounds like you want to keep all of the big-assed shemales to yourself. Can't fool me, playboy.
hahahahah nice. Well I know Rio Olympics was almost a disaster. It kind of laid out the problems that country has. I also know disease is a lot more prevalent in Brazil. Like that parasite taxoplasmicgondii or something like that, that Joe rogan talked about that's makes the women there submissive and the men crazy as hell. Look it up, it's some interesting stuff....

well...

im from manaus and lived in sao paulo since i was a kid.

TS is right about Rio de Janeiro. It is fucked up. But also is TS mindset when he blame "socialists", "brazilians liberals" for it. What is happenning in Rio is the result of war on drugs. Most of the right wing politicians benefit from war on drugs: the ones who get money from guns producers (yeah, "bancada da bala", bolsonaro e cia) to the ones who actually ARE international drug dealers or related to them ( Perrela family and Aecio Neves) NO ONE of these guys are socialists. The guy is tripping balls over the fake news. There is a "anti-left" campaign going on here for some years and people here think they are living the cold war or something. So stupid...

BUT yes, there is some chaos going on there. Ive heard about many people coming to live in Sao Paulo because RJ is fucked.

To be honest it is not a place i would go for vacation. If you want to see beaches go to northeast or south if you want bitches. Just kidding.

The "looking over your shoulder" is a must have in Brasil, wherever you are.

And do not be so sure its impossible to be robbed by some dude wearing only trunks and an AK-47.
Just borrow the AK from your old brother and the motorcycle of your friend. lol

"gringos" are easily spotted in Brasil, specially in Rio. They make easy preys and good profit.

Take care.
Come to São Paulo.
Look over your shoulders.
And...
Legalize it.

the other day i was walking on the street when i saw a tall skinny guy wearing a skinny jeans with a pair of flip flops and a polo shirt/tank top...colors all matching...kinda red haired or blonde...clothing had a really nice fit...but those flip flops...lol.....
they got out of the car and started talking...the guy and a girl...both of them unaware of the surroundings....

i kept an eye on the girl and the other on the guy...i was sure...

guy didnt notice me
the girl did

they were speaking english
the guy had an UK accent and the girl BR accent.

seriously....you guys really stand out from all brazilians kinds....

come here
eaty the feijoada
drinky the caipirinha
train the jiu jitsu
taky care
hespecht
be safy

My brother was in Argentina for awhile, and in his second wallet (for giving up to thieves) he had a picture of a naked super-obese woman with the words ‘tu madre’ written on it.

Unfortunately it never got stolen.

This is beautiful.

I wonder how these organizations that hold bjj camps in Rio keep everyone safe?? Is it just a numbers game? Everybody goes everywhere at the same time kinda thing

It's a real shame, I always wanted to go to Rio.

Is Rio still really unsafe right now? From what I’ve read I was under the impression that you should be alright if you use common sense i.e. don’t bring valuables out with you, only bring cash you need for the day, don’t walk off by yourself where there’s not many people around, take taxis at night etc.?

Having spent more than twelve years on Brazilian soil in Rio de Janeiro, I still recommend visiting Brazil. Not to live there, just for a visit, to experience training in the motherland of BJJ and understand more about were the Jiu-Jitsu we train comes from.

Funny how these brazilians talking about how hardcore brazil is, but when they go to South Central Los Angeles, they got nothing on the Bloods and Crips. West side mother fucking Crips make them brazilians look like bitches easily. them brazilians can't even hang with the Nortenos! And of course the Chicago gangstas are way more hardcore and tougher than brazilians.

American gangstas >>>>>>> brazilian slum hoodrats

I tell people to go to Mexico (Cancun) instead of coming here, way safer and you have a taste of "latin music and party"
