Diamond MMA jock strap / compression shorts - yay or nay?

Hello,

I train mma and i was wondering if the Diamond MMA jock strap or compression shorts:

are worth the high cost. There are reviews here on sherdog but they are made by accounts with less then 15 posts, where other users accuse the reviewer of advertising the item (cannot be 100 % sure if this is true but its kinda fishy).

Did anyone buy these? Are they really that good?

Thanks, I think I'll try the lo bloo muay thai cup. Not sure I want to spend 100 € on something that might not fit

The harness is awesome but the cup itself runs small and only comes in one size. I'm not exactly a black porno star but I had to swap the cup out for a XL metal thai cup.

I have a shock doctor compression short/cup combo that looks pretty similar to the Diamond MMA one. It is decent but I didn't like it for MMA training. The cup wasn't secure in the back and there was no way to tighten it. The bottom of the cup tended to come up a bit and move around. Looking at the Diamond one it seems like it would have the same problem.

I also have a Jaco Guardian system that seems to be discontinued. This is a shame because it is great. There are three Velcro straps that can be tightened and adjusted in the back so the cup stays put and feels much more secure. I am looking for another one like it because mine is pretty old and needs replaced. Does anyone know of any other similar ones?
