Denis Villeneuve's Sci-Fi Drama ARRIVAL (93% Rotten Tomatoes)

Finally saw Arrival tonight. Really enjoyed it. Amy Adams is gold. And Jeremy Renner is always welcome in my film watchin’. Love a good slow sci-fi that doesn’t try to be an action film.

And why did Whitaker do that accent

That Forest Whittaker accent is my only flat-out complaint from this otherwise fine film.

I mean, what the fuck was that supposed to be. It sounded like Boston, by way of autism.

Jóhann Jóhannsson Dies.

He was a huge part of the effectiveness of ARRIVAL and SICARIO.

At least he went out on a high note. His score for Mandy is truly fantastic.
