It is relevant. Conor beat a good up and coming fighter that night. It doesn’t mean he beat the same man that holds the belt today though

Just because Conor hasn't had success with his recent fight against the top defensive boxer in history or an elite wrestler, doesn't mean he hasn't been improving his overall game just like Max has. As both quite logically have been training hard and improving, the original fight where they were both inferior remains relevant.

it was a fight when both were green in the UFC...... its relevant whether you want it to be or not.

Max was 5 fights into his ufc career but still green in ufc!
