It will be a performance that tops even the one he had against Eddie Alvarez. Khabib will probably get dropped three or four times before he gets finished. Conor will probably taunt Khabib by putting his hands behind his back while standing right in front of him (just like he did with Eddie and Mayweather.) And it will take no more than two rounds to shut his lights off (I personally see it happening in one.) It will be glorious.

tbh defending your title isnt that big a deal in the grand scheme,but since she has and Conor has yet to ever do it,it sets the bar pretty low to be a better champ than Conor lol.

I’m talking about the mindset and heart of a champion. It’s not about how low Convict has set the bar. It’s about how much Holly cleared that bar by.

She had permission to sit on her belt for a year. Not just permission, that is actually what the UFC wanted her to do. Dana was pissed at the time, too. Surely you understand that part. But, the concept of stalling, or ducking was so alien to who Holly is, that it was unthinkable. She’s a fighter, and has the heart of a fighter. Don’t forget she was also a World Champion boxer. Fightng is her lifelong passion. It’s ingrained in her DNA.

She was the best and wanted to prove it. She feared no woman. Let’s remember at this time that Holly didn’t ask for a scrub to defend against. She went in the opposite direction. Before Holly beat Ronda. Miesha was cemented in as the second best active BW on the planet. And had been for quite a while. She was running through the division as effectively as Ronda was.

Not alot of women were tripping over themselves to fight Miesha after her second fight with Ronda. And that’s likely why we ended up with a ridiculously undersized Rin Nakai, fighting Miesha in the UFC. Holly wanted to defend against the absolute highest ranked contender in the world. And Miesha was indeed the highest ranked contender, at the time. Holly never asked for an easier opponent. And didn’t hesitate to sign for a fight with the top contender. Respect... That’s what real champs do.

She hasn’t ever shit talked Ronda, or anybody else for that matter. While at the same time, ducking the people she was shit talking about. And though she could have completely stalled the division. She kept it rolling. And it was her choice to do that. She’s a fighter, with old school class, and respect. She’s not vain, and doesn’t let a belt define her. So she didn’t just sit on the sidelines for 13 months. With her belt safe and secure under her ass. She put it on the line. When she didn’t have to. And don’t forget. Fighting Miesha cost Holly millions. Because she lost the opportunity to rematch Ronda for the really big bucks.

Convict wanted nothing more than to just sit on a belt. Playing at king of the mountain. It’s about him. It’s always about him. Talking shit, and playing the role. But never once backing it up. He didn’t want to challenge himself. He didn’t care about trying to prove he was the best. He didn’t have the balls to put his belts on the line. Because he was so scared he’d lose them. He demanded that he be allowed to keep his belts ( You’s’ll strip me of nothing you’s do nothing cunts ). While having zero intention of ever defending them. WTF does a person even say to that shit ? How do you justify that ? What a dink.

If he had even a tiny amount of Holly’s class. He’d have vacated. If Aldo, and Alvarez were the cowardly ducks that Convict is. That asshole never would have won a belt in the first place. Because you can’t beat somebody that won’t fight you.

Do you see the difference more clearly ? Do you get how diametrically opposed to eachother they are ? And how that makes Holly an exponentially better champion, than Convict could ever hope to be. Here’s a simple analogy. Convict is represented by a high jumper. That’s where he set the bar. Holly is represented by a pole vaulter. She didn’t just clear Convict’s bar by a centimeter. She flew over that bar at three times the height.

Apples and oranges, and it’s not even close. This is not about Convict. It’s about Holly.

And LOL @ all you asshats saying that "Khabib won't last against a superior striker"! Khabib is NEVER the "superior striker" in any of his fights! That does not stop him taking ppl down or even jabbing them to a pulp. Barboza is arguably a more creative striker than Conor (better kicks for sure) and how did he do vs Khabib?

Lastly, Conor is retired. He's been out from MMA for 2 years. He's rich. He's got legal issues now. He can "stay ready" on Twitter for the next 50 years but there is very little chance that he comes back to MMA and even less chance that he challenges Khabib. The only fight he *may* be interested in at this point is vs Diaz again.

Perhaps Ronda would have lost still,but she said she doesnt shoot for takedowns because her knees are bad from years of judo. When fighting Holm,without footwork,she had to resort to bumrushing to try and land punches,she couldnt shoot in or use the threat of the shot to come in because she didnt have one. It was a key in Holm landing with impunity.

Khabib vs Conor is a very interesting fight,a great style vs style matchup,but its not the same as Ronda vs Holm. Khabib has more weapons.

Her knees are not so bad that she can't shoot in for one if that's her only hope of getting someone down there. The problem is that Holly was too fast and too sharp with her feet (footwork) and her hands for her to do so.

And the analogy is still valid regardless - Khabib won't get a good chance to secure a take down, Conor's mastery of controlling the distance will be too much for him. He'll try and set up a take down with his shitty striking (in comparison to Conor's), but Conor will keep him modest. I could see him slipping through maybe once or twice, but just like the time Holly stuffed one of Ronda's, Conor will shrug him off.

I didn't say their careers were comparable as a whole, I said they were both fierce on the ground and that the way Conor would school Khabib would be similar to how Holly schooled her. Retard.
