Round 3 was by far the most humiliating round for Conor because Khabib took the round off, stood with Conor, and proved Conor couldn't hurt him even with the round completely in his favor. No wonder Conor tapped out, he knew he had nothing left.

I don’t remember all of the rounds and what happened in each round but didn’t “McGregory” get fucking slapped in this round as he won the round.... LOL,,, just a good revelation of really what went down… Friendly reminder here

Conor lost the battle, but the greats always win the war.

All Conor has learnt in that fight (and specially in the 3rd round), that he doesn't have the power to knock Khabib out, so it will always come to wrestling. And everybody knows the outcome there.

The third round is also the round where he basically apologized.

He felt the need to cheat throughout the whole fight and in the next round he gave up his back not even trying to defend the choke/crank.

Conor has many outstanding traits. Heart in a fight is not one of them. There are worse though.
