Not a great training session, was supposed to hit 630x2.

But.... That's the opposite of what he's suggesting.

I know.

In the mean time I've determined that is is more likely a tennis elbow issue. Had it before and just have to keep from aggravating it for a few weeks and then begin a stretching routine for my forearms/hands to get the flexibility back. And adding a grip or forearm workout should help towards it happening anymore

495x6 Tied PR

Deload week

Did my light work sets and then joker setted my way up to a new PR of 392.5lbs

Was pumped as though forearm is injured, it went up smoother than when I did 385lbs nearly 2 months ago.

So I did it 2 sets of 1 rep for good measure

First day back to squats. Ankle feels fine.

Squat
440 lbs x 1 x 3 sets

Front Squats
345 lbs x 2 x 3 sets

On Friday, I worked up to a set of 425x3. It felt pretty good and was the first session I've really been happy with since I started lifting again.

I wish my deadlift was progressing as nicely as my press. I just keep adding 5 lbs to two alternating rep schemes, but it never gets any more difficult.

With deadlift, I have to adjust for how I'm feeling on a given day. Lifting in the evenings after work really sucks compared to a day off where I've gotten more rest and (I think even more importantly) can get jacked up on caffeine.

Coan-Phillipi Deadlift Routine Week 8

Top Set
215kg x 1 (meant to be 2)
210kg x 1

Speed Deadlifts
160kg x 3 x 3 (120 Seconds between sets)

Bench Press
60kg x 5
67.5kg x 5
77.5kg x 5
87.5kg x 5 x 5

Based on this, I am re-calculating my desired max for the Coan-Phillipi routine down to 220kg from my original desired max of 225kg

Just some deficit pulls today, 70kgx5x3 and then hamstring work at 30kg on the machine for 12's.

Our first official(ish) improvement, and it's 55 lbs in just 5 weeks!

I'll keep the OP updated with links to the final 1rm videos. If anyone wants to go through the trouble of getting links for all of the starting videos, I'll update the OP with those as well.

Why did I add the "ish"? Because I'd like to change the rules (if everyone agrees) that the video needs to provide a clear angle on which to judge the lift.

Not trying to pick on MilkMan, but that's a terrible point of reference and I don't think a video like that should be accepted as a final 1rm.

Front angle for final videos 100%.

No complaints from me gents. I wasn't even thinking about that being my final 1RM submission and that was the only real position I could get the camera that day, so wanted some kind of record of it, even though it wasn't the best view.

I removed it from the OP. I'm sure you'll have plenty more.

Deadlift
395 x 3 x 3

GHR
Bw+5 x 8 x 3

I had two DL reps get out in front of me a little, but otherwise, they were fast and smooth.
