Then it's a good thing that experts whose se occupation is to follow the trends and compare them to historical trends all agree the CLIMATE is CHANGING...and in ways that threaten human existence en masse. And the deniers do use single data points, all the time. And when confronted with variance in the over all trend, they respond with greater dismissiveness.
Its all fun and games to preach from a perch of convenience, in everyone's little personally controlled bubble where they're always 75 degrees (cars and homes) or whatever temperature they like, or taking variance in temperature as a personal convenience. It's all cool until dry up and there's widespread crop failure, not to mention the water that comes out of your faucets comes from reservoirs that are filled by snow packs that fill those rivers, snow packs that are happening less or melting too fast. Or until you brag about living somewhere like Florida because you like the politics, but who just turned down $300+mil of Federal money to invest in lessening emissions and you're literally at high risk for experiencing climate catastrophes every single year (I lived in a City that was flattened there), and property taxes as well as insurance costs are through the roof.
But yeah I'm sure it will be no big deal. Just remind these people:
And keep in mind AZ ground water already sucks so bad if you use it as a source for housing development, this happens to people who buy those houses:
There are multiple communities going through that here in the Southwest. Thankfully Arizona's leadership changed and that community got approved for water that isn't going to cost them triple the price, yet. And now they dont have to collect scarce rain water or pay exorbitant prices for trucked water. Which is going so well it now has a black market.
