London police are at the scene after shot having been fired and "flood of people" have exited the subway. Oxford street residents are told to stay indoors and take cover.
London police report treating it as a terrorist attack despite not knowing what is going on yet.

just another normal day in europe.

Just part and parcel of living in a big city.

Subway shootings are part and parcel of life in a big city.

Well the shooter must have felt very marginalized from society due to prejudice and hatred.

We need to mandate more diversity courses for everyone.

No source?

Thanks.
The Met said it was responding as if the incident was terrorist related and urged people on nearby Oxford Street to take cover inside buildings.

Oxford Circus and Bond Street stations are closed, Transport for London said.

Eyewitnesses described people running from the area. Police say they have not located "any trace" of any suspects, evidence of shots fired or causalities.
Let's hope it stays that way.

Let's hope Michael Bennet doesnt get falsely detained in the ruckus

Love the knee jerk reactions here.

MSM is on the story now. Apparently there is no evidence of gunfire.

Seems like a case of some loud noises spooking a very paranoid(and rightfully so) London crowd, and caused a stampede.

London needs stricter gun laws

Hopefully you won't scamper off when more info comes in.

It will be informative to discover whether or not the (alleged) firearm(s) in question were purchased and in possession of the shooter legally.

I'm going to guess "no" - but am open to being proved wrong.

Just saw this after my previous post... lol

It seems basically somebody said they heard gun shots, this caused mass panic, and the cops showed up to find nothing had actually happened.

Still, it gave social media a chance to do their #PrayForLondon bit, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

Londons strict gun laws appear to have worked in this case. Happy to be wrong

Sounding like there's a chance it's a false alarm. Praying it stays that way

terrorists do this sometimes to gauge and study police response time and behavior
