Bag work video

you've got really good footwork and weight transfer/balance for an untrained guy. You would benefit from doing lots of combo drills on the mitts so go find a trainer.

yeah he actualy understands putting weights behind the strikes, it starts from the oppsoite sides foot over the hips bending your knee of the side you´re hitting with, twisting the shoulder. He might have trained or he picked it up

Stop stepping out of stance every 5 seconds.

It looks like youre fighting a giant

And your knuckles grazing the bag makes me cringe.. use bandages

The longer you train, older you get, and more injured you become... the more you realize how important good gloves and hand wraps are...

You look good though. Power is there, pretty explosive and hooks strong.

Time to drill more basics on the bag. You didnt throw a single jab, double jab, or even 1-2.
If you were to fight like how you hit the bag you would be an explosive brawler who has about 2 minutes before he gets tired.

You have pretty good technique for power development. Keep a strong stance, and drill basics. Time to up your repertoire of techniques that come natural to you.

Your left side looks interesting in some ways but your right side is garbage. You have some good potential (athletic) but you badly need a technical trainer or boxer to correct your basic footwork and mechanics or things will end up badly for you if you ever need to use this in real life (sport or defense). It doesn't have to take a long time or much $ (or any, if you can finagle a way) . Just get that correction ASAP, so you don't keep going like this. You literally can't improve until you do.

Get assessed and take accurate notes (actually write it down) on the following:

>Footwork

>Posture/stance/balance

>Correct mechanics of punching with both hands, and proper whole body movement/weight shifting/balance while throwing them in combos (putting it all together)

There's too many things to be told in writing and you need to be shown and corrected in real time. You've figured a couple things on your own but not the solid most important parts that cause it to work.

Get corrected in person- it doesn't even have to be at the gym. It's like lifting with a rounded back, it's not going to get better. Find someone technical and/or accomplished who also likes to use humor [dark humor is fine if not preferable] if you can -- those guys can really teach. Just keep notes and keep refining it and forget about how you 'look'

Find a defensive specialist or counterpuncher since that is what you need and want most.
