Biggest problem with the scoring system is it doesn't take into account the effectiveness of strikes.

If you hit someone with a bunch of pitter patter shots that don't do much and they hit you with a big overhand that drops you, it's obvious which was more effective.

GSP has bruises from every fight, including easy 50-45's where nobody in their right mind would say he lost

Some people bruise easy. Some people have skin so rough they don't show damage.. The Diaz brothers get grazed and they bleed..
