Just a reminder when mma community tunes in to watch Mousasi fight in Bellator, he might be only fighter where fans can't say " well, he failed in UFC" .He was well on his way to title shot but just made a decision based on money, respect and the future of his family and friends. Officially 12-3 under the Zuffa banner.

Hope he'll be back in a few years to complete unfinished business.

It's be cool to see if he could beat Weidman without controversy.

Neither Bader nor Davis were failures in the UFC as well. Bader was on a 2 fight winning streak...won 4 his last 5 (KOed) by Rumble...

Davis lost to Bader and Rumble but he himself was never finished in the UFC and holds Ws over LHWs still on the UFC roster (Nogueira, Machida, Gustafson)

REEBOK!!

Larkin and MacDonald were both top 5 Welterweights when they left the UFC too. Certainly not failures. Even Michael McDonald and Paul Daley were top 10/15 ranked when the UFC released them.

I wouldn't say they "failed" either but other fans can say well Bader got crunched by rumble and was losing to UFC elite and Phil was exchanging wins and losses vs the best.

They released Daley for a good reason.

Didn't fail.. hmm but everytime he faced top comp and was close to a title shot he lost.. Jacare.. Machida and even lost to Uriah hall.. I guess he beat of TRT and shot Dan Henderson/Belfort..

So the only legit top 5 fighter he beat in the UFC was Weidman by dodgy ref fuck up.. You guys give him way too much credit he left to earn the same money but not have to fight the likes of Rockhold.. Jacare.. Romero.. Whittaker.. Weidman again

Clearly u back him more the he backs himself.. he could quite easily earn more in UFC if he actually beat one of them and won the title

By no means was I a Bader fan..just being 100% objective...which UFC elite beat him?

He avenged the Rumble debacle by finishing both Latifi and lil Nog (both of whom are still cashing UFC checks) and he was steadily calling out Cormier....maybe Bader would have been the first to make this happen...
