Being a german national socialist is not the same as a socialist. The Nazis were rightwing but just threw the word socalist into their party name.
No the Nazi's were definitely socialists. Especially in the beginning when the Strasser brothers had a lot of influence on the economic policy in the early years.
But the Strasser's could probably be considered has hardcore socialists and were later ousted by Hitler.
But the Nazis were socialists. You don't have to be on the left to be a socialist. The far right in Europe today are mostly socialists as well.
Like the Front National or German NPD.
