Oscar doesnt follow MMA, if he did he would know who Pereira, Topuria, O'Malley, Holloway and other big names in the UFC are. his knowledge is from 10 years ago.

but yeah i dont have high hopes for Zuffa boxing. their boxers might have to win a fight just to fight on the card.

Where are all these African fighters that said they were coming and Muslims boxing gyms have been posting things where they sing "notice me Dana" most famous of those is that women boxing in Gaza. Dana will make them into stars.

How many boxers does the average person who doesn't watch the sport know? Probably Jake Paul, for sure. And Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather who are retired. Maybe Manny Pacquiao. It's a dumb talking point.
Combat sports in general does not occupy the same space in society as it used to. Oscar also has spoken out against the UFC a ton so his opinion on MMA in general is garbage.

Walsh vs. Ocampo will be held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Another show is expected to take place on January 30, a source told BoxingScene’s Lance Pugmire. It’s speculated that the January 30 show will feature former junior welterweight titleholder Jose “Rayo” Valenzuela, 14-3 (9 KOs), in his first bout back since being unseated by Gary Antuanne Russell last March.
