Zero excuses. Refreshing

He has been very humble after this. It’s refreshing.

He did hump his last opponent after brutalizing him, but Costa talked a lot of shit. Izzy seems like a good guy. So does Whitaker, it’s weird they don’t like one another. I think it’s more of a local rivalry thing.

Ironic how fast some of y’all are willing to forgive Izzy’s immature, vulgar and classless behavior in the costa fight. He is a pos and anyone with a clear moral compass would know that.

The first thing he said in the Rogan interview after the fight was "I didn't sleep well at all"

I thought here we go :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

But in fairness after that he was saying Jan was better and thats why he won, so fair enough

When someone brings a white belt to the press conference and tries to hand it to you, only for you to make them your bitch, one could say his post fight actions were warranted.. classless for sure... but warranted? Izzy is extremely humble, having fought over 100 professional fights, hard to not like the guy to be honest... Michael Jordan considered the best in the world was known for saying immature, vulgar, and classless things to his opponents as well but how did that work out for him?

The fight was close enough that Izzy could be whining, too. Very cool. O'Malley needs to take this in.

I liked it too

BUT

lets see if it stays this ways the coming week(s)

I have a hunch he will go back look at the fight and come back and say that he thinks he won the fight and the judges gave it to Jan

What’s so offensive about that , Izzy proved to the world that he has a white belt Bjj level during this Jan fight lol

First few minutes. I don't hate him nearly as much as I used to. True champions mentality.

I like how he said his team is excited about getting back to figuring out what went wrong..Sounds very positive and that they enjoy the journey. The journey is the most important part when it comes to learning. His head is in a good place already and I like that.
