Your thoughts on Top King Extreme Focus Mitts

A buddy of mine asked me if the Top King Extreme Focus Mitts were worth getting and I told him to search in these forums, but apparently there are no reviews or posts going into any kind of detail other than they're really good quality. If anyone has had experiences with these specific Extreme Mitts I'd like to hear them :D
 
Strange, no reviews in any sites. But as a person who uses two different top king products, I can say that Top King is a reliable brand, it sponsors a lot of muay thai competitions; but do not expect first-class quality. The price of Top King products are always good for their price.
 
I find it strange too there's absolutely no reviews or detailed comments on these mitts

In my experience, that stuff is hard to find outside of Thailand and even in Thailand, it's not even that common. When I was last in Thailand, the shops I went to had a few pairs of tk shinguards and nothing else from them. I also never saw anybody using their stuff in Thailand. One guy told me there's a tk shop in bkk but that's all I ever heard.

I think tk quality is good from my experience and sometimes the prices seem lower on websites so I would imagine their focus mitts are pretty decent, but keep in mind that I'm at a point where I just don't care about gear all that much, give me a pair of gloves so I can go train and I'll callnit a day.
 
Sorry I wanted to mean quality :)
I have their shorts for my matches and I bought the thai arm band ( I think they are called prajeads )

I'm not an expert in focus mitts, but i've catched punches with these, and punched these and i prefered them over boons. That's all i know to be honest.

What makes you prefer them over boons?
 
I saw Buakaw doing pads with these in person at a seminar and they seemed decent enough... he was throwing kicks and knees too
If you go on Buakaw's insta youll see heaps of vids of pad work with them

I havent tried em myself but I think the extra rectangular cushioning is designed to withstand the impact of kicks and knees but still make it light and small enough to doing quick punch combo's

For that reason I'm considering buying em myself :icon_chee
