Young Alec Baldwin would've been great as Batman

I just watched the Shadow last night, and while it's not a great movie, Alec is awesome as usual.

And it reminded me of the types of roles he could play before he got fat.

Baldwin had strong Jawline that would've looked good under the mask, unlike Christian Bale.

And I think Baldwin would've been amazing as Bruce Wayne, as he already comes off as an arrogant smug prick, but with some kind of darkness bubbling just under the surface. I mean, this is a guy that shoots his own crew members in the face, so you know there's darkness behind those eyes.

Also, Alec's voice can be very menacing when he wants it to be. Much like Kevin Conroy's portrayal in the animated series.

So you wouldn't need some ridiculous raspy yelling like Christian Bale did. Alec could intimidate thugs just by speaking at a normal volume.

I honestly don't see it and Alec never seemed like he cared to stay in shape. His voice was great though; I'll give you that.

Fun anecdote about The shadow
The Shadow was praised by the studio executives for its effects sequences, leading them to think it was going to make huge business.. Problem was they had not seen the rest of the film. The movies problem was the middle part which stalled. While it flopped in the theaters It did well in the video sales and there were talks of doing another one.

Lets face it, if Michael Keaton can do it alec baldwin sure as hell can too. It wasnt like Keaton was lighting the world on fire. He was overshadowed both movies.
