Volks only chance in this fight is wrestle and holding Yair against cage. Yair is not Max Holloway but one of the very best strikers in UFC. So is Volk but Yair is just levels above. Volks dehydraded body can’t deal with Yairs vicious body kicks and unreal combos. Even if Volk manages to take Yair down he will be in danger. Yair can smash your head with elbows from bottom or rip off any limb. We have new champion. Mark my words

Routing for Yair here but not sure how this is going to end. You are right, Yair is a much tougher match up to Vol than Max was. He is very dangerous, with KO power and great distance. Volk has been fantastic but we have not seen he face anyone comparable.

If you have $$ to spare and you don't have a dog in this fight.. Yair by KO/TKO is a nice, fun bet.. Yair can always land a strike to end a fight at any second and he will have 5 rounds to do so here.

Also the height and reach advantage is very glaring and I know Volk's always been the shorter fighter majority of his fights but it will probably get even more exaggerated in this fight because of how Yair fights and the distance he likes to fight at.. a lot of ground for Volk to cover.

i will never doubt Volk again, the man comes from a land down under. With that said, I felt like he gave out an eerie premonition of what could possibly happen, him being caught by a "lucky" wild punch. It's one of those curses that isn't talked about enough, same with the walk to the cage, where a fighter stumbles, or immediately tries to go into the cage, those moments preclude a loss.

If Yair were to KO Volk, are we to expect Yair to go on and do what Volk did in order for him to be validated as a champ and not a "lucky shot" kind of guy? Will he need to go and beat Holloway and Makachev? (Volk did beat Makachev after all, it's only dagestani ball/cum gobblers who say otherwise)

I think Yair has a crazy ass path ahead of himself if he were to pull this shit off, a rematch vs volk would be the least of his worries, he is surrounded by sharks.
