I see a few people saying these are good for a decent price. Does anyone currently use them? I think I'm going to pick them up. I've heard nothing but good things. The only sites that sell them are baseball sites. Are they suitable for BJJ / MT? Also which are the good ones? I see around 2-3 different kinds from images alone and I'm not sure which one everyone is talking about. . Here are the different kinds I'm seeing.

I've got these ones and I like them a lot. Picked up the shorts without a cup really cheap on eBay. I guess they're sliding shorts so there's actually a bit of extra material on the outside of the thighs that takes a little sting out of low kicks. They're too long to wear with Muay Thai shorts, though (unless you don't mind looking silly). I wear them as my main pair of compression shorts.

Nothing wrong with seeing compression shorts under your shorts.

Not at all. These compression shorts just go all the way to my knee, so they are often visible under my Sprawls/Warrior Wear/Clinch Gear shorts. Especially when I throw high kicks or I'm working from my guard. I was just saying that they might look a little funny under most MT shorts that are 3-5" shorter than the compression shorts. Personally I've been wearing the XO rather than my Jaco Guardian. I typically train in longer board-style shorts, though I have several pairs of MT shorts as well.

Does that pair come with a cup? I recall someone saying they like one of these because the cup fits perfect, is comfortable, and doesn't move around. That's what I was looking for because I'm not trying to get pinched. Someone also said the cup has a soft siding so it doesn't dig in. Hopefully someone can clarify which has the best support w/ cup included.

As I said, I bought the compression shorts by themselves. I'm not sure if they normally come with a cup, but if you've located them for sale I'm sure that info can be easily ascertained. I wear a separate Shock Doctor jock/cup and wear the XO shorts over the top of that. I don't have any problems with any shifting with that setup. They are very snug fitting shorts.
