I got a gf in Portugal who's apt interior setup is very similar but theres no window in the front, just a giant medieval looking door.

The bed is on the top and bathroom/ kitchen is below it

For single people or couples, it seems ok as a low[er] cost solution to a housing crisis.

If there was a bigger version, I'd live in such a prefab.

This home starts at $149,000. Another 5-10k to deliver the thing, 5k-20k in land grading and foundation work. Maybe 3k to get a crane, 10k for a full septic system, and a few more thousand for a driveway access, electrical, etc.

So now you're looking at over 200k.

If you had that kind of money, why the fuck would you need this? This screams "I want a cabin vacation home but I'm a city princess."

Personally, yea I would. Maybe not that exact one, but a different design.

Looks pretty decent enough, but I'm not sure.

No. My apartment is 530 square feet and I find it tiny and dream to get a bigger one, but the prices skyrocketed after the pandemic. I want to buy land and build a 3,000 sq.ft. house there.

I am sick and tired of tiny tight spaces unless it's a vagina of a woman I like.

If I didn't have 2 dogs and a cat I would. A minimalist lifestyle would be so freeing. Throw that puppy on a couple acres and I would be golden. Cleaning would take 5 mins and no one would want to come visit, that's amazing.

That's the scam with tiny homes in CA it is more ridiculous because the ADU/tiny home has to be on the lot of a regular house so you have to buy a regular 600k-1mil house to have a tiny home within your home like a russian doll situation.

Call me old fashioned but I like having a lot of stuff and a lot of space.

I see the value in minimalist living but it's just not for me.
