Triple H has mentioned it recently, and I've always been a fan of the vanilla midget flippy shit. Maybe even steal a page from TNA (gasp), and make it a high-spot based division, rather then a small guy thing. I would bring it back with an 8 man tournament.

Kofi Kingston-
R Truth-

Neville-
Shane Helms (surprise entrant) -

Kalisto-
Tyson Kidd-

Jushin Liger-
Sin Cara-

Yea, especially with the current "cruiserweight" wrestlers.

We would have some tremendous matches

I'd add Neville, Kenta, Sami Zayn, and few others that aren't coming to mind.

These guys need to be in the world title picture

The cruiser weight division would handicap them and vince could use it as a reason to not push them to the world title

If you want them to win some midcard titles The IC title and US title are fine

Hell yeah. I've always found the flippy shit entertaining.

Would be a pretty thin division, buy TNA and absorb what is left of their now barren X-Division and try to revive that their cruiserweight division as the new "X-Division". Great name for a division and would potentially make them stand out from the Main-Eventers.

That's what I was thinking. Cruiserweight is a dirty word in the WWE, so it may take some rebranding. They're by far my favorite guys to watch, so I would be all for a shift in focus to them.

No. Because let's be honest, WWE would treat as a joke just like before.

I don't know, guys like Daniel Bryan and KENTA could be the guys to define it, and I don't see them not going over in those circumstances.

In theory yes, but I don't have any faith they could make it meaningful

They could always go the ECW/WCW route and bring in foreign talent to fill the division out. Are there any new age Juvis, Psicosis, Ultimo Dragons, etc. ?

I don't want to see anything involving that concave-chested Kofi, and old as dirt R Truth.

The rest, would be fine by me.

Haven't watched wrestling in a long time but when did they take the title away? Was it after the Benoit double murder?

RVD was last holder in 2002, so Wiki says

Rob Van Dam 4 August 26, 2002 0 New York City, New York Raw The title is unified with the WWE Intercontinental Championship.[2]

I would like it to come back if they would take it seriously.. but they wouldn't. They already have two mid card titles. IC title has been below mid card, a jobber title for the longest time.. People tend to lose more after they win that fucking title..

and the only reason they give a shit about the US title is Cena. They've been using that title to let him run through the whole roster.

WCW had an awesome cruiserweight division but it was basically putting a solid glass ceiling over anybody labelled cruiserweight.

Like when one wrestler beats up the tag champs, the cruiserweight champ would be fed to Big Show or somebody on a regular basis and the title would look like shit.

It will end up being just like this "Divas revolution".

Vince hates vanilla midgets so he'd just end up shitting all over the division like he did last time.
