I mean, begin seen as the goat, unbeatable, too far away, blabla, getting hellah rich and famous, blabla

And then getting crushed so bad that the whole world laughed at you

Would you like to have this very up and very down career ?

I think its not that easy, most of people would say "yes of course i would get so rich and what a ride, do mma, wwe, movies, etc"

but she really get humiliated and mocked during months maybe years.

The beatings she got from Holms and Nunes will stay forever in history books. Because it was made in embarassing fashion.

Why not? I can then join fake wrestling and be a champ there too, and beat up Triple H

Plus she's a pioneer in WMMA. Most pioneers have suffered embarrassing losses (e.g. Royce). The difference is that Ronda was arrogant and didn't garner much sympathy after she lost with the way she handled the losses

The losses aren't the humiliation.
The way she handled them was self inflicted retirement.

Ronda could have continued and beaten most girls but that ego...

Beat Most girls? Not sure. The sport was gaining on her fast.

That being said, I agree with your post about her handling of the losses.
I don’t view losses as embarrassing. It’s the fight game. Things happen. Take a look at Ben with the flying knee. All that matters to me is how the athlete handles the loss. Ben handled it like a boss. Ronda did not. That was the issue.

I’m not going to sit and mock an athlete for losing fights because most people in the world including most on this site would never have the balls to do what those fighters do.

To answer the topic at hand though....Who on earth wouldn’t have wanted a career like Ronda? Most if not all would kill to have a fight career like she had and accomplish everything she did ..even with the bad ending.

Huh? Just don't cry in a pillow after losing to Holm and who gives a shit lol?

Huge amount of money fighting cans and not a lot of fight mileage or damage as well.
Sounds pretty good lol.

The world laughs at me anyway. Keep the fame, but I'll take the money.

There are like 3 people who got out gracefully. It's just a meatgrinder of a sport. I think she had one of the better careers, all things considered.

how many careers would you RATHER have should be the question.

Your inability to spell is more "embarrassing" than Rousey's career. And for some reason, I am guessing your "career" isn't anything to write home about. Pot meet kettle.

She's still a celebrity, capable of generating money off her name.

She also have very few fights and retired young (I don't even think she was 30), and most of her fights ended in a matter of seconds. Yeah the Holly KO was bad, and Amanda tuned her up, but that's very little damage compared to most UFC fighters.

If you contrast the money she made and the relative lack of damage she took to make it, she's had one of the most successful careers in MMA history.

Pioneer?! Others were doing it before her, she was just 1 of 2 girls who first fought in the octagon.

The only thing Ronda pioneered was to display how one should NOT behave in victory and especially in defeat.

I can't remember, was she loved in wwe?

While I definitely dislike and didn't appreciate (and never did) RR's abilities as a mixed martial artist I do understand she worked very hard to be excellent at Judo. Additionally she was the right person at the right time in the right sport. So in a nutshell she worked hard, won some fights, lightning struck, and she made a bunch of money. Would I take that career knowing I was going to receive a huge amount of mean spirited criticism over the next decade? Absolutely. Ronda Rousey doesn't give a flying f$$$ that I think she and her opposition was terrible.

Id take diego sanchez career. Get paid peanuts, get massive cte, then end up the boy toy of sensei fabia. A sherbro can dream :D

Yes, but hopefully I have a better spouse and a better coach too

Exactly this. Ronda had a great career, and is one of the best WMMA fighters to ever do it (at this point). Other hyped fighters (like Conor for example) got beat, but handled it so much better than it didn’t hurt their careers nearly as bad as Ronda’s was.

Why the hell not?

Was seen as the GOAT. Made $millions. And gave her the opportunity to even break through to other opportunities such as acting. And eventually pro wrestling.

Is this a trick question??
