Heavyweight (Francis Ngannou): The worst stylistic matchup for Francis Ngannou would be a submission first wrestler that weighs in at the HW limit. Both Juan Espino & Alexander Romanov fit that description but ultimately Alexander Romanov would be the worst stylistic matchup.

Light Heavyweight (Glover Teixeira): The worst stylistic matchup for Glover Teixeira would be a younger submission first wrestler with size on him. There are no fighters that fit this description at LHW, but Jailton Almeida is a submission first grappler with takedowns and size on glover. Jailton Almeida would be the worst stylistic matchup.

Middleweight (Israel Adesanya): The worst stylistic matchup for Israel Adesanya would be a submission first grappler with the ability to take him down. Andre Muniz would be the worst stylistic matchup for Israel Adesanya.

Welterweight (Kamaru Usman): The worst stylistic matchup for Kamaru Usman would be a similarly well-rounded wrestle-boxer with size on him; a bigger version of Colby Covington. Multiple UFC WW fighters fit that description but due to his youth and size Khamzat Chimaev would be the worst stylistic matchup.

Lightweight (Charles Oliveira): The worst stylistic matchup for Charles Oliveira would be a similarly well-rounded grappler with size on him and knockout power. Several UFC LW fighters fit this description but due to his grappling prowess, similar size, and technical striking Islam Makhachev would be the worst stylistic matchup

Featherweight (Alexander Volkanovski): The worst stylistic matchup for Alexander Volkanovski would be a similarly adept kickboxer with strong submission first grappling. Zabit Magomedsharipov due to his commensurate kickboxing ability and strong submission grappling would be the worst stylistic matchup.

Bantamweight (Aljamain Sterling): The worst stylistic matchup for Aljamain Sterling would be a similarly well-rounded wrestler with knockout power. Multiple UFC BWs fit this description but none more so than TJ Dillashaw who would be the worst stylistic matchup.

Mens Flyweight (Deiveson Figueiredo): The worst stylistic matchup for Deiveson Figueiredo would be a similarly well-rounded fighter with size on him and knockout power. No current UFC Flyweights meet this description, but Brandon Moreno comes the closest due to his commensurate abilities on the feet, knockout power, and grappling. Brandon Moreno is the worst stylistic matchup.

Who do you believe is the worst stylistic matchup for each UFC champion?

Aljo,

Yan: saw the last fight, can't take yan down can't out strike him. Taste Yans power didn't like it looked for a way out.
Aldo: Doesn't look like Aljo gonna out strike Aldo specifically with the Aldo recent performance see him improved, Aldo have the best ttd in the division don't see aljo taking aldo down.
TJ: better then Aljo at everything.
Cruz: snipe aljo from the out side all day, don't see aljo taking Cruz down.
Triple C: beat aljo everywhere.

For Ngannou: Although He beat him twice, Blaydes wrestling heavy style is still the best thing to wear and tire him out, Curtis just needs to avoid the big shot. Tuivasa landing a random bomb to test his chin could be something too.

For Glover: Honestly Jiri has the Long lanky strength to be the best to avoid his grappling game and the power to finish him. Other than that Jones is the obvious choice.

For Israel: A grappler that can keep him down with power to keep him at bay. Khamzat I think if he gets passed Burns could be a good option here. Andre Muniz too.

For Kamaru: Needs someone with submission skills or with legendary TDD. Khamzat potentially matches him with wrestling, but I think he could submit usman.

For Oliviera: A pressure fighter who's aggressive on the floor, Islam could be good but Charles could very easily wrap him in a submission. hard to say.

For Volkanovski: Someone taller with range who can keep him at bay and potentially threaten with submissions/match with wrestling. Since Max fell twice I see Bryce Mitchell as the guy to best him right now.

For Sterling: It's Yan...I don't see him beating Yan or TJ.

For Figgy: Someone who has a durable chin and can pressure him, Figgy tends to tire and get stifled if he can't back someone off early. Moreno just lost so I'd say Kai Kara-France is the best option.

Heavyweight (Francis Ngannou): miocic

Light Heavyweight (Glover Teixeira): jiri

Middleweight (Israel Adesanya): alex pereira

Welterweight (Kamaru Usman): chimaev

Lightweight (Charles Oliveira): justin

Featherweight (Alexander Volkanovski): emmett

Bantamweight (Aljamain Sterling): yan

Mens Flyweight (Deiveson Figueiredo): askar

Worst stylistic matchup for Francis is still Gane imo.

Emmett is a tricky one for Volk because of his immense power and wrestling.

Fig - Cejudo
Yan/Sterling - Cejudo
Volk - Cejudo
...
Nganou - Cejudo
Tyson Fury - Cejudo

HW: with uncertainty, possibly Jones and possibly Aspinall.
Jones because IF he can perform at HW, he has the tools to do what Gane did on the feet and he has the wrestling and grappling.
Aspinall because he has good striking, good defense, and good grappling. But we need to see more.

LHW: Ankalaev. He can just nullify Glover's strengths and find his chin.

MW: possibly Pereira. possibly Chimaev. Lots of uncertainty here.

WW: Chimaev, but cardio could be his downfall.

LW: Conor (not kidding). Conor is still the best sniper around and Oliveira's weakness is being hittable.

FW: No idea.

BW: Yan

FW: Not sure.

HAHAHAHA ... you're almost as funny as our Lord GORO.

Ngannou - Maybe Aspinall, quicker, has pop, can grapple too.

Glover - Rakic or Ankalaev, basically people who can strike with him and put him under wrestling pressure too. Those guys are the most proven at that.

Izzy - Khamzat

Usman - Khamzat

Oliveira - Probably Islam, should be good enough to stay safe on top.

Volk - Probably Max tbh

Aljo - Yan

Figgy - Moreno or maybe Askar Askarov

Nunes - Pena

Pena - Nunes

Valentina - lol

Namajunas - Healthy Tatiana Suarez or Andrade over 5.

Francis: It would probably be Lewis since Francis has shown in the past that he was afraid of Lewis. But Francis seems much more confident now.

Glover: I think Magomed is a terrible matchup for him and would brutalize him. Magomed is an excellent grappler, both offense and defense, and has excellent clean striking.

Izzy and Usman: Khamzat

Vok: I honestly think Zabit could be.

Aljo: Probably Yan. Maybe Aldo as well.

Davidson: IDC

I am so fucking tired of hearing about Khamzat....yeah he's prolly really good but can he beat 1 good fighter first, Li's a fine win but fuck people act like he's already cleared out the division and has been getting snubbed for a TS.
