That was not being good + being hurt.
There are some guys not very good, it's true. But I give respect for guys following through on something they want to do. I started training with this pear shaped 23 year old who wasn't good at all like 11 years ago.. I wasted him in training the first time I took him. He was obviously not cut out for it. But I left the place we worked together at, and I saw him like 4 years ago, and found out that he eventually took like 3-4 fights and I think won one. I respected him for that. I was better, maybe even decent overall, but knowing I wasn't going to be good enough to be really high level I never took the risk and took a fight, even when people told me I should. I wussed out. So yes, respect even to guys who should be in there because they aren't athletes or can't fight. They wanted to do something, and they are doing it.
