As the title says. Looking to go to my first UFC event in NYC but dont want to pay $900 for $100 tickets. I assume these will go down a bit of nobody is buying them? Would i be correct in assuming this?

Whats it like at an event? I have been reading the forums for a while and people always mention the cage being in the way of the view! Its a once in a lifetime thing for me. Is it worth it paying x amount for a ticket when i will be in the nosebleeds?

Cheers

Off topic slightly but I absolutely despise these "ticket resale" businesses and wish Police would shut them all down.

I want to call those ticket resale businesses something but i rather not

If they aren't selling, the price will come down. But you'll have to wait to find out. I've done it for The Grey Cup in Canada a cpl times.

Yes. Just wait till a week before the event .

I'd say those $100 might get down to $400-500

But it's still not right they should shut stubhub down. Nothing but online scalping and they should rot in hell

nyc...will be sold out .

Sold out is a relative term.

There's never really a sell out and there are always tickets available somehow.

I got shut out of 205 myself. Not very happy about it. I'm made my feelings known on what a scam the UFC 205 presale was. Fucked over alot of good UFC fans.

Anyway, I will probably end up going. Probably by myself because none of my crew will pay that much for a ticket.

And yes, I'll have to go to a resale site which will make my skin crawl.

I don't think they should shut ut down but they should pass a law to cap the prices. Like tickets cannot be resold for anything more than 150% of the original retail price. To charge 900% of the retail price is disgusting

The tickets on Stub Hub will start to go down on the day of the fight if theres any left
If you wait til after the prelims start then you may be able to get a relatively good deal on tickets

The only people saying going to a live fight sucks are the angry internet nerds that complain about everything
The experience of being there and the energy and excitement of the event far outweighs not being able to clearly see every single wristlock and nose tweek

I'm fine with that solution as well.

Mine would be you have to provide the credit card you used to purchase the tickets at the door to gain entry.

How do you get the tickets for $100? Do resale places get tickets first dibs?
