Will the UFC cut khamzat when he pulls out against Whittaker?

If he flakes they better and sue his ass into Bolivian. He keeps leaving the fans hanging. He needs to make into the cage and take care of Whitaker.

He will get eliminator fights, but never an actual title shot. Like he already does.

I admit I've been waiting on it.
Has something happened to inspire the thread?

If he does they put him as a prelim from now on.
The guy has turned out to be a massive disappointment but he's young enough he could still turn it around.

That being said WAR WHITTAKER!

I've been waiting for Khamzat to pull out as well.

It can't be overstated how much of a step up in competition Whittaker is, compared to everyone else that Khamzat has fought. Khamzat knows this and it probably makes him very nervous.

Well last time he pulled out with only 2 days or something so it's still possible.
Plus robs always had great wrestling defence so I think he matches up well.

So far Khamzat has at least fought once per year, and if he misses 2024 that might not be all that terrible in the eyes of UFC.
Costa didn't fight in 2023 and is still around.
But if it's a repeat of a previous health issue (lugns or immune system) UFC might be too worried Khamzat's health is done.

Khamzat is still probably one of the top 10 names for generating hype in the UFC.

Khazamat needs to fight a high level grappler outside of the top 15

There’s nothing worse than a huge shit talker that doesn’t fight. I want to see him get viciously KO’d into retirement.

I honestly think he just has a problem with overtraining. which is probably a mixture of adhd and insecurity masked as hyper preparedness. On the other end of the spectrum we have guys like Junior Tafa showing up to fights and winning after living in a fridge and drinking beers.

The ideal fighter is somewhere between those two extremes

Both are a bit of a pullout merchant, fight is at risk even on fight night.
