Will Pimblett be the Dricus du Plessis of the lightweight division?

We're rooting for this guy to get the beating he deserves, but he submits Green, will face the washed-up Chandler and then fight for the belt.

If the stars align, he'll win and we'll all have to suck on that mango 🥭
we'll all have to eat crow.

What would be your reaction if that happened?

I confess I'm already afraid of this plague repeating itself, of lightning striking twice in the same place, although Dricus is a beloved fighter(or much less repugnant) and not a detestable one.
I hate to say it but I think Paddy beats Chandler.

What we really need in life is Topurias first move into LW to be Vs Paddy. The universe literally handed us this shit on a plate.

Looks like I touched a nerve lol. You’re the one obsessed with the hairy men, you can’t keep their names out of your filthy mouth.
Stop lying to yourself, you're only touched yourself (again) while watching Khabib and Ismal bathing.

I wasn't very interested in Paddy when it was predominantly his charisma that was getting him attention, and my perception leaned a bit negative after the Gordon fight. Lately I have taken a liking to him, for his surprising fighting skills and successes. Looking forward to his coming fights, and agree he has an age advantage over most in the weight class. I think he could get the belt one day, depending upon how long Islam and others stay in the division, or when and how they suffer their inevitable declines.
Yeah I could see Chandler, Justin, Dustin, Darius, Charles all getting old over night and Paddy just outworks them while people get shocked that Paddy pulled off upset. Not to mention Paddy is huge for division. He's got decent power and well rounded. With a lucky string of fights he can get to the top. Still no idea how he can get past Islam unless UFC could tilt the odds in Paddy's favor somehow.

The prophecy is coming true.

While we are on the subject... did we ever figure out conclusively if Eric Simpson was in fact "the 30-something Randy Couture of the 40-something crowd" ???

DDP has a good gastank and stellar ring iq(adaptable). Paddy is yet to show those.

I think he'll definitely move up the rankings but I don't see him beating any of the top 5 yet. If he beats someone like Chandler that will make his case a lot stronger though.

He has a good social media personality so it's in Dana's interest to keep him moving up, but at the moment I think the amount of exposure he gets isn't really backed up by his record yet, kind of similar to Shavkat
shavkat? really? apart from his last fight where he looks a bit off, i think he have proven that he can hang with the current elite. hell, maybe even good enough to be champ with a bit of improvement.

and in his last fight it was against garry, another undefeated fighter that was surprisingly good and have lived up to his hype most of the time, and maybe because both have around the same level they couldn't run through their opponent like they were used to doing against lower level comp. but a win is a win, even if it was an ugly one.

precious experience for both i say, may it spur their growth as fighters.

Paddy seems to have great ground skills but he's very hittable on the feet. He's a likeable guy but not as good as DDP in the shit talking stakes, i think DDP is current P4P #1 on the mic, elite.

I'm not saying he'll win, but I think he has enough name recognition to be given a title shot. That's the only metric that really matters imo

The time has come to check out this disaster.

It's not just the stars that align, but the judges align too, and the fights can be fixed.🫤

Anyone attending the event, please put chewing gum in his 70s Beatles hair.😂
