don't hate it. find myself having a hard time staying awake for those main cards that start at 10pm EST.

This is also an objectively strong card. Aside from Pickett/Anders, every fight on the card involves someone with significant upside.

UFC likes to test different stuff on cards that don't mean as much. They are probably seeing how it performs to evaluate. I remember it was a huge deal back then to put Brock/Overeem on a Friday once to see how it would do. They probably use low cards now as guinea pigs.

My guess is that the only people they found that were willing to watch an Apex card were 8 of Rozenstruik's relatives who booked a table in a Surinamese restaurant and they built the telecast around them.

Why do they even have Apex cards still? That was for the Covid era when no fans could attend. Time to have these in bigger venues where they can have a decent size live audience. I really dislike the whole atmosphere of apex fights.
