This event was originally planned for Seoul, South Korea. Chan Sung Jung aka The Korean Zombie withdrew due to a shoulder injury. The UFC changed the location to Las Vegas. Then made the start times suitable for the Asian market. There are four Japanese and seven Koreans on the card, which doubles as the finale to the Road to Asia series.
