For anyone who doesn't recognize the name, it's this guy:

This guy pops up everywhere. I am actually surprised when he doesn't have a guest appearance in shows that I watch. Here is a small percentage of what he has appeared in recently:

My theory? Once upon a time he walked in on a massive orgy of all the power players in Hollywood. He took video and holds it over their heads, forcing them to put him in literally everything. Either that or he is talented and people like him. Not sure which it is.
 
Because he's a funny guy with good management? Awesome to see he was on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., he's a huge nerd. That filibuster he adlibbed on Parks and Recreation was a classic.
 
He's funny and a decent actor. Nothing really surprising. By the way he's got a new stand-up special out that's hilarious. Check that shit out.
 
Why not? Dudes funny, he's good in almost everything I see him guest star in, at the very least he never degrades whatever show he's in.
 
Dude has the perfect look and persona for the nerdy sarcastic guy. He's a popular character actor.
 
Just to clarify, I'm not dissing on the guy. I am impressed he is in so many things. I just wanted to get some thoughts from his fans and other people.
 
He has been, especially voicing in Bob's Burgers, however he doesn't pop up as much or make as short appearances as this guy:

If you haven't, you should give his standup albums a listen. The way he holds control of the audience definitely makes him seem a lot bigger than he is. The dude is also a complete riot.

correction: 89 credits to 123 and 1 self to 99. Guess Oswalt does take it.
 
He's a comedian's comedian. Top 5 in my list of stand-up comics. Extremely talented as a writer.

I probably should. I don't listen to a lot of standup, but I could see him being good .

I don't know, but I love Patton. He's got a few great comedy albums I listen to from time to time. He's a fantastic stand up comic.

I think he would actually do well with a late night show of some kind. He's got a good temperment for it.

For some of his best bits, look up "Death Bed" and "The Magician".
 
He is great on the Opie and Anthony show.
