Is there any relation with the country of israel or israel is just a common nigerian name and it's all a coincidence?

Israel existed a long time ago as a middle eastern tribe/ group of people and talked about in religious books, euro jews just revived the name when they went there not invented it, it doesnt surprise me that its an old name passed around

There was no country Israel before 1948. There was a nation of Israel, which is a prophet mentioned in Quran as well as Bible. So it actually started as a name. Quran mentions Jews as Banu Israel, the people to whome Allah sent messangers Moses, Aaron (his brother), Jesus, the son of Mary, and other messengers in the past. Some of them they killed, some rejected, some mocked, some of the Jewish tribes followed the messangers like Moses.

Why is John "hands of stone" Lineker called that? He is Brazilian...

Because his parents named him John Lineker, his dad was a huge football fan.

Why is Anderson named Anderson? I mean thats a surname

Nigerians are mostly Christian or Muslim and 'Israel' holds a special place in the stories of all the Abrahamic religions.

It's common for Christian cultures to have names like 'Israel' or 'Jesus' in the 2nd and 3rd worlds.

I went to jr. high with a ginger kid named Israel... Dude looked like Hans from The 'Burbs. Don't know what happened to him, so it can be a white thang too, so to speak.
