Why is Dominick Cruz so confrontational?

I noticed Dominick is a very confrontational person, cranky even. The obvious examples are his public call out of DC, his constant badgering of Rogan when Dom was still allowed to call fights on ppv, and now this week he's been a proper dick to Marlon, but tbf Dom seems to be a dick to anyone he's fighting. But why is he like this all the time? Like bro chill out and just enjoy life stop taking everything so freaking seriously. Like everywhere he goes he has chip on his shoulder.

He's very unlikable and I was surprised the UFC gave him the commentator job. I guess part of the thing that makes him great (the desire to prove he's better than everyone) can't be turned off in his case. He needs to be the best in the ring, outside the ring, while commentating etc.. He's a smart guy (overrated intellect though IMO) and a great fighter but I always find myself rooting against him because of his personality.

I recall Bisping saying that he and Dom got into an altercation whilst out for a drink. In all fairness, Bisping has that stubborn "I'm right either way" attitude so it's no wonder they clashed given Dom is the same
