I feel like anyone who has seen it at the very least likes it. It could have easily fallen into cliche Western or typical Tarantino-fest or both but it just took on its own identity as an absolute masterpiece. Can’t get tired of it. Still timeless after 16 years. How?

Should have ended once Waltz dies, Django shoots and kills everyone and ends it killing Walton and Stephen, takes broomhilda and off to the sunset.

Instead we get 35 more mins of Django being captured and Tarantino being an Aussie. It's retarded and not needed.

According to Sam Jackson, his character was way worse but Tarantino feared backlash against Jackson so he cut the scenes.

This moment when Django has to wipe his face is one of my favorite subtleties I've ever seen in a movie.

It's better than most, but one of Tarantino's weakest. DiCaprio totally got robbed of an Oscar that year, though. Nice to see an established pretty boy step outside of his comfort zone and absolutely kill it. Not in desperate way, like he did in that boring movie where he crawled around for two hours.

It's only 13 years old, though. Don't put unearned years on me. I'm old enough as it is.

Its not?

And Tarantino is the most overrated guy in Hollywood.

I seem to only watch the middle chunk. Leo and Jackson are outstanding in it and it makes humorous an often taboo subject.

I probably like it for all the wrong reasons but considering there are lots of it I don't enjoy or I think is retarded and skip, yeah a lot of it is an unnecessary wank.

It's no Gummo

and well honestly I've never actually seen it.
