"Since the new gloves debuted at Bellator 110, Bellator has held nine events and experienced zero hand breaks inside the Bellator cage. By way of comparison, Bellator Season 8 saw eleven events using the old glove design, and included eight broken hands during the season, including Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima and Lightweight standouts Saad Awad and Alexander Sarnavskiy."

Note the curvature designed to reduce eyepokes, similar to the old Pride gloves.

Maybe we could have witnessed the rest of the great fight that was KJ Noons vs Cruickshank.

they think they are better at everywhere, even breaking fighters hand more often.

Note how they didn't say anything about eye pokes. Note how Bellator still has tons of issues with eye pokes.

gifs? I don't remember any in the last few events. Certainly much less than in the UFC.

UFC won't even admit Fuckator exists, much less copy their gloves.

The first event to use the new gloves had a fight end due to an eyepoke (Lara/Diekmann) and another match with eyepokes from both guys (Green/Richman.)

You ready to admit you don't know what you're talking about?

Grappling feels a bit more unnatural, and those don't do anything to reduce eyepokes

Interesting about the lack of hand breaks though.

Coker bought fight pass and took a look at the PRIDE design, also looks like they added a little bit more wrist support which will benefit strikers, less hand breaks and such.

UFC's motto seems to be if it aint broken

The problem is the eye pokes are obviously broken but UFC seems okay with having a few fighters go blind or look like that mouthy UK fighter who's other eye doesn't work properly

Dana's pride wont allow them to. The same reason he wouldnt even entertain an argument for Pride's old glove style.
