Everywhere I go, I see people hating on single mothers. No one wants to date a single mother, and everyone has a low opinion of single mothers (well, except tv shows/movies/media). On tv, single mothers are praised as these heroic, strong figures, but in the real world, a lot of people despise single mothers, see them as a drain on society, and want nothing to do with them. Even the kids of single mothers resent them for not giving them a normal life like other kids. Is it really their fault, or are single mothers just unlucky? and do they deserve the all the hate they get?

No one hates on single mothers simply because they're single mothers (based on what I've seen, anyway).

A lot of guys say they wouldn't date them for a variety of reasons. The fact is, all things being equal, a childless woman is more desirable and has less baggage than a single mother. If a guy has options, I don't see why this is a problem.

No one ever says "why so much hate on broke guys?" When women don't want to date them.

Single mothers are the heroes of society.

I don't hear people hating on them though..

This.

I have many single moms in my life that I love and fucks with; but simply put, less fucking baggage is always much better for your constitution. Especially if you are a succesful dude with his shit together.

  1. I don't know anyone who hates single mothers

Nobody wants to raise someone else's kids. People hardly wana raise their own so if their raising someone else's the woman has to be special. That's it really.

I’ll agree with sentiment completely, and I married a single mom. Basically, she was such a wonderful person, and did a fantastic job raising her son, so much so that there just wasn’t much baggage. All of her and her sons positive attributes outweighed anything else, so I stayed a part of their lives.

Maybe it’s crazy, but a person should approach relationships with an individualistic approach, rather than lumping a person into an arbitrary stereotype. Crazy I know.

There ain't no hating on singles moms if they are banging hot and let you bang them

Why the hell would anyone hate single moms?
a lot of kids of single mothers blame their mothers for what they went through and now pretty much hate all single mothers as a result
