Why do some fighters give up easily, whereas others push through the pain?

Rory quit but I wouldn't say that. How bout dudes who eat 1 body shot. Shit happens not every fight is the same
Yeah, it's wild to think he's a year younger than Belal. But he also fought a prime Condit as a 20-year old followed by prime version of Lawler X 2, Wonderboy, Woodley, Maia, Ellenbuger, etc. by the time he was 25. Belal wouldn't be a champ at 36 if he started his career like that.

I cut Rory a good bit of slack as he went into a stacked division very young and fought almost all of the best guys. It happens. Nick Diaz was as tough as nails, but when he came back after a 6 year layoff he quit against Lawler.

In history there were people who didn't fold even under the worst type of torture. So it's safe to say that some human beings, for whatever reason, have no quit in them. They literally will die before giving up.

That's also why you need a responsible corner man who can protect that type of person from themselves.

Deep down lot of fighters are actually cowards to not use a stronger word
Oh no i broke my pinky toe 🥺 guess i dont have to fight now!
Guys like Bo who give up from a knee to the body should be banned from fighting ever again, next level embarassment

Because getting your ass beat sucks really bad, so you have to be a real animal to be willing to endure and fight through it.

I'm chalking it up to having a good woman in their lives :)

With a good woman, you do not quit. Just look at Rocky :)
