Why didn't Georges St-Pierre fight like he did with Jon Fitch more?

A lot of GSP's fights are entertaining during his title reign. We call those fights boring back then but the truth is we were spoiled.

Much like we were with mighty mouse.

Because he turned into a point fighting coward
It seems from watching his fights he lost a lot of his athletic abillities after his second knee surgery. he was a different fighter after that.

With each fight and title defense the stakes get higher and the pressure rises. Champions start fighting not to lose more so than to win. Look at Izzy when he fought Gastelum compared to the guy who fought Romero. Two differnt animals.

Which ones did we call boring that were actually exciting?

Fitch
Koscheck II
Hardy
Condit
Alvez
Diaz

all of these fights are more "entertaining" (I never exactly used the word exciting, as i feel there is a distinction to be made there) than many of the title fights we've seen today in modern times people went on and on and on about how boring gsp fights are, but these are in my opinion about as good as the average title fight today.

I realize the Fitch fight was after this, but GSP became much more calculated after the first Serra and BJ fights.

Because he only fought Fitch one time. GSP always had the perfect game plan for everyone and this was the result for Fitch. Can't fight that way against everyone.

Shook from "To the Death Georges" ?

Considering what we know about Fitch now, how emasculating was this fight for him? "I got my ass kicked by an effeminate beta nerd..."
