Law Why did Perkins Coie lawyers have security clearances?

The main law firm involved in lawfare against trump, fighting for mass mail in ballots in 2020, fighting trumps lawsuits in 2020, etc, along with other firms.

Heating some analysis now, but they are DC based and deal with a lot of foreign clients. why would they have security clearances of working on behalf of foreign entities and individuals, along with subverting our elections.

why would they have security clearances

Same reason why i had to get security clearance when doing defense work for a DoD contractor. Even though the majority of my regular day to day work dealt with large corporations nationally, internationally and even foreign governments.

Security clearance is for future input on the job and adjacent circumstances down the line.
