"Borrachinha" was actually his nickname.
Now that he's in the UFC he wants to be refered to as "the eraser"

Costa is his last name.

So it's Paulo "the eraser" Costa now.

His real name is Paulo Costa

BORRACHINHA was a nickname meaning "little rubber" because his elder brother has the nickname meaning "rubber man".

He has now changed his nickname to "the eraser".

Welcome Paulo "the eraser" Costa

Yes I agree borrachinha was better

The only thing going to be erased is his fight purse once he finally pops

Why did "Junior" change his name to Jose Aldo

The only thing going to be erased is his fight purse once he finally pops

ALL his fights have been in Brazil so far and I do think be will be usada'd soon once he starts fighting more in America. Might even be flagged after this fight

As someone who is portuguese i get it, americans can't pronounce that goddamn nickname

How dare he renounce the noble family name "borrachinha", a lineage that dates back to medieval times???

When he went to the government agency to change his surname, they asked "what do you want your new surname to be?", and he replied "first, how much it costa?" "Ok, Costa it is"
