Why did Mark Hunt file lawsuits against UFC for Brock’s Roids but Bisping couldn’t over TRTitor?

Was watching Bisping vs Anderson when that thought just popped in my head.
I can’t see a reason why Bisping wouldn’t benefit from similar actions and likely should have back then when the Vitor 2 fight ended with blindness

TRT was legal at the time. It was always a not very well thought out idea but it was legal for a while before the UFC realized the mistake of it.
The UFC was also aware Brock would fail his test but waited till after the fight to release results. They straight up allowed Brock to illegally compete which is against Hunts rights and contract. Dude deserves a fair fight every time out.

The Count used glass optics. Testosterone helped Vitor, but not as much as Bisping's poke-proof eye.

Reminder that One-Eyed Mike took GSP to deep water :p
That one Dagestani is one eyed too and he competes

Bisping would only get so much money from Vitor, and the real money is from UFC. Had Bisping attempted that he'd go up against UFC lawyers and wouldn't have the job he has today.

Vitor 2? They only fought once. Also Vitor had a therapeutic exemption use from the commission. Brock was not in the UFC, Clearly was roided and the UFC had a new USADA program to weed out PEDs and the UFC pushed him thru knowing he was dirty. Two very different situations.

He could have but even Bisping loved seeing himself get knocked out.

This is the big reason. Bisping was thinking of his career after he retired. He's got a great job now, and he's a good commentator and a former champ, so he has the credentials.

imagine how hard a jacked guy who has to cut to make the hw limit can hit. then imagine after cycling steroids for probably most of his adult career.

i was and still am of the opinion brock gave hunt some serious damage in that fight. the way he was acting after. before the fight he was like i dont care if hes on steroids and anyone who knows hunts combat sports history knows hes competed in orgs where real testing was not a thing. the dude flipped his lid after that fight and has wasted a ton of his money in court. something is seriously off. i do think the ufc owes him for pulling the brock stunt though that was super blatant imo

Bisping has a job with the UFC, a career...Hunt is probably broke after that.

Agreed, except the amount of TRT that Vitor was using was illegal. I think he's the reason USADA eventually banned it.

Bisping has said that he put off seeing a doctor for quite a while after he first noticed a problem. Vitor's lawyers could argue that Bisping's own negligence was responsible for the severity of his injury.

Hunt’s lawsuit failed and he ended up owing the UFC money
