Merab is a funny character who is lovable so I'm mostly a fan of him until I see him fight.
Just watching the prelims & they show Merabs 49 takedown attempts on Yan in the first fight out of which 38 of them were failed takedowns & he hardly had any control time in the fight.
What am I supposed to be a fan of, seriously?
In a mixed martial arts fight where the guy isn't skilled enough to takedown the opponent, hold them down, sub them, hurt them or strike with them.
But, he has insane cardio where he can hold the leg enough times in 25 mins that they win the fight, I'm not even being a hater that's what 90% of Merab fights are.
Other wrestlers atleast threaten subs or are skilled enough to hold someone to the ground.
My issue isn't that Merab isn't entertaining or doesn't finish people, there's hardly any skill to appreciate.
His fights are like spamming one move to in fighting games, like spamming Kings low kicks in Tekken 3.
I really want to know why you're a fan of Merabs fight style? And if you like watching cardio based sports why don't you watch track and field?
