The thread was clearly made by a lefty to score some gotcha points and the righties responded accordingly. But, I think there is an interesting discussion to be had here. Mainly, is there a place for gatekeeping and enforcing norms along lines of traditional masculinity in right wing politics?

Personally I think this is not only legitimate but should be baked into the ideology. The Milo Yianopolis type of right winger should be regarded as allies rather than true rightmen, in a system similar to how the progressives see left wing straight White men.

The problem becomes where do you draw the line when dealing with many shades of degeneracy. Keep in mind that as long as righties don't have a real answer for this it's just another chance for the lefties to dunk on their laziness. With that in mind I think the solution is a fully developed caste system where people who walk the walk can be elevated and the chaff can be marginalized.
