Why are bjj people not doing proper push ups?

Is it to focus on those muscles with the stamina? Doing them just halfway.
You hit the muscles different with that. Is there a purpose to it?

They have never been the phsycally strong type. Wrestlers are the beasts. They were always skinny but skillful. But then we have a few guys Mir.
