vaguely remember the story, and it's a bit complicated from what I recall, too many variables going on. how often do these mistakes happen with an ordinary nurse?

It seems like people are just trying to get her off on technicalities and ignoring common sense.

It just goes to show for violent criminals in for the long ride..as long as you always maintain your innocence..a lot of actually smart people will twist themselves into knots trying to get you out.

We get it here in the states a lot. They’ll even accuse innocent people of the crimes on far flimsier and circumstantial evidence than their cause célèbre was convicted on to force a new trial or a bleeding heart governor to pardon.

I'm reading into the conspiracies about how she's a scapegoat for the failings and underfunding of the hospitals or whatever. You're saying general incompetence is how the babies died? What about the babies purposefully injected with synthetic insulin?

She was a nurse on the ward. Why would anyone be surprised a nurse was there? Plus as I've already mentioned, there were twice as many deaths as what they pinned on her. The others, she wasn't there for. The ones mentioned in court were picked out because she was there. And no one actually could prove those babies were definitely killed and didn't just die of natural causes. That's another thing that doesn't seem to get acknowledged when they talk about this case.
