Who is the king of cte?

Alistair Overeem has been (T)KO'd a total of 19 times in his combat sports career, 15 via MMA and 4 via kickboxing. Somehow, he remains one of the most articulate fighters despite English not being his primary language and exhibiting no signs of CTE.

I think Overeem not having an iron chin helped him CTE wise. The brain isn't taking as much repeated damage after a concussion.

There's definitely truth to that. But 19 times? Not only that, but from LHW and HW fighters that have been known to have crazy power. It's a miracle he isn't showing some sort of deterioration.

You should watch the Tank Abbott Jaxxon podcast episode. Dude technically died like Ben Askren yet he is incredibly sharp.

I'm not sure how guy was still allowed to fight
The regionals are always ready to sign someone who competed in the UFC or another big name organization. Spencer Fisher did an interview not too long ago where he was talking about his current issues brought upon from competing. It's because of this video, I'm glad we don't see soccer kicks or head stomps in MMA, these guys are punishing themselves enough as is.
