Freddy was the best. Opened up the most possibilities for storylines and kills without completely going off book from the original idea. Great character design between the burns, claws and wardrobe. And one of the few on the list where the actor got to really put some oomph into the performance.

It went to shit once it turned into semi-comedic self-parody but Freddy was scary as shit in the early going. Just like the T-800 was before it started putting up drapes and wearing star glasses.
