Guys that are so big they could not possibly make 265 and are there enough of these giants to create a 265+ division in the UFC.

I think Mark hunt, big foot but there are not enough fighters to really make it last.

Not entirely sure. They are few and far between anymore. Back in the day you had alot off guys way over 265 but they saw glimpses of moderate success at most. It was a fun era though. I wish there were more super heavyweights out there. Entertaining as fuck

Another reason why I love ROAD and RIZIN they really dig their openweight division.

Last time I saw a fight legit billed as Super heavyweight was years ago in KOTC. Featured a guy whose nickname was "Pele." He was a legit skilled big guy, but couldn't find fights, and had a hard time fighting and supporting his family, IIRC.

Dan Bobish is worth a mention....Tim Persey, Jonathan Wiezorek are other good SHW fighters. Semmy is still the best.

When you have a fight like Mighty Mo vs HMC at Openweight in Road, there is really a difference to super heavyweight? It's not like Penn vs Machida
