Of all the MMA media, he's the one guy who absolutely positively 100% is not on Uncle Dana's teet. He will ask tough questions, point out hypocrisy at the UFC, call a spade a spade, and actually enjoys his job.

Nobody else in MMA journalism can claim to be as against the UFC grain like Helwani.

We might hate the guy, but still gotta respect him
