Sprawl and brawl guys like Liddell, Gaethje (and I'd add Hendo to that list) are pretty clear but Cruz was somewhere in the middle.

He was a base wrestler who started his MMA career as a wrestler/grappler. Definitely showcased some great wrestling scrambles throughout his career but like a lot of wrestlers, started falling in love with his hands later in his career.
